Enid is the county seat of Garfield County, so the courthouse is right in town. The Garfield County Court Clerk's office is at 114 West Broadway Ave., Room 101, Enid, OK 73701. You can reach the County Clerk at (580) 885-7301. They are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All felony and serious misdemeanor cases from Enid are filed here.
Copy fees follow standard county rates. The first page costs $1.00 and each page after that is $0.50. Certified copies cost extra. Enid Criminal History Laws and Fees
Criminal records in Enid are public under the Oklahoma Open Records Act, Title 51 O.S. Section 24A.1. This covers police reports, court files, and jail records. Copying costs are capped at 25 cents per page for standard and one dollar for certified copies. Active investigation records can be held back, but closed case files are generally available to anyone who asks. You do not have to give a reason for your request.
Enid Municipal Court handles city ordinance violations and minor offenses. The court is separate from the Garfield County District Court. Municipal court records are not on OSCN or ODCR. Deferred sentences under Section 991c get the plea expunged but the arrest stays on the OSBI file. Violent felonies cannot be expunged under Title 57 O.S. Section 571.
