Carter County Court Clerk Records

At the sheriff's office, arrest report copies run $5 to $25. Incident reports cost $0.25 to $1.00 per page. The OSBI charges $15.00 for name-based searches and $19.00 for fingerprint searches. Land records are not criminal history records. But property liens from criminal restitution orders and judgment records may show up in the land system. The online search includes advanced search by legal description. Under the Open Records Act, you do not have to explain why you want records. Clearing Carter County Criminal History

Oklahoma law allows some criminal records to be sealed. Under Title 22 O.S. Section 18, a full expungement seals both court records and the OSBI arrest record. Section 991c covers deferred sentences where the plea gets erased after probation, but the arrest record stays with OSBI. Filing fees run $100 to $300 in Carter County. OSBI charges a $150 processing fee. Violent felony convictions cannot be expunged under Title 57 O.S. Section 571.
