Search Craig County Criminal History Online
Two free tools let you search Craig County criminal history court records. The Oklahoma State Courts Network lets you search by party name, case number, or filing date. Select Craig County from the dropdown menu. Criminal case types use codes like CF for felony and CM for misdemeanor. OSCN is run by the Oklahoma Supreme Court and costs nothing. Cases from the mid-1990s forward are available electronically. Pre-1990s cases require a trip to the courthouse in Vinita.

The site has both free basic results and paid access to more detailed records and document images. ODCR is a private service, not a government site, but it pulls data from the court. Some cases show up on ODCR but not OSCN, and the reverse is true too. Check both when you need a full picture of someone's Craig County criminal history. Vinita Municipal Court records are separate and not on OSCN or ODCR.
Note: Sealed records, juvenile cases, and adoption records do not appear in any public search on OSCN or ODCR.
OSBI Criminal History Search for Craig County
The OSBI CHIRP portal runs statewide criminal history searches that include Craig County arrests. A name-based search costs $15.00. You need the person's first name, last name, and date of birth. CHIRP searches three years before and after the date of birth to catch records with data entry errors. Add a sex offender registry search for $2.00 and a violent offender search for $2.00. The OSBI database only covers Oklahoma. Out-of-state arrests and federal cases do not appear. Arrests where fingerprints were not taken will not show up. For a more exact search, you can submit fingerprints to OSBI at 6600 North Harvey Place, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Fingerprint-based searches cost $19.00 and provide better identification than name-based lookups. Call (405) 848-6724 for questions. Craig County sits in northeast Oklahoma near the Kansas border, so people with records in both states should check Kansas systems too. The Cherokee Nation also operates courts in the region that handle certain criminal matters for tribal citizens, and those records are not in the OSBI database.
